I feel like I could sit here on the edge of this pond for hours, soaking up the quiet gentle beauty of the pond and the flora that inhabit it. The waterlilies drift along the top, a flash of white among the deep turquoise black of the water. The red flowers shoot up along the banks, bringing a pop of red to the scene. Eventually I move along, but this little moment of beauty is now engraved in my mind, there to bring out again when I need a moment of peace to relax by.
