This series was apart of an experiment. I wanted to challenge myself to do a small drawing each day for a month, and I wanted it to match the rest of the art I was making and to reflect my artistic standards, even if I only had a short amount of time to work each day.

I had been drawing and painting local Philadelphia architecture for a couple years, so I stuck to that concept and completed a collection of black and white ink drawings.

They have a place in my heart as a way I was ale to let go and allow the charm of a quick drawing to emerge.

Each piece represents real Philadelphia architecture and attractions and communicates the charm that can be found in a city rich with history.
